Today I have a guest post on Rainy Day Mum about our Butterfly Sensory Bin that I made to go along with the book Caterpillars, Bugs and Butterflies: Take-Along Guide. It is one of the posts in her Storybook Summer 2016 series.
All you will need are a few simple things for this fun activity that is sure to please your bug loving preschooler!
Materials Needed:
Sensory Filler like Green Grass
Plastic Tub or empty pretzel container
Caterpillars, Bugs and Butterflies: Take-Along Guide
Hop on over to Rainy Day Mum to see how our Butterfly Sensory Bin came together!
I love Butterfly’s as they remind me of my daughter Suzzane who passed away. So I can not wait to check into these and use them in our Homeschool Classroom. Plus I want to check into her Storybook Summer series.
That’s a sweet way to remember your daughter.
I don’t see as many butterflies as when I was a kid. We recently took our 2 yorkies on a doggy day picnic & road trip and saw a Monarch in the park we had lunch in. This was my very thought & how excited I got as a grown woman to actually see one.
