Easy Ways to EARN Your Christmas Money

October 16, 2014 By Thaleia 18 Comments

Educational Games for 2-8 Year Olds

This post is the first installment of a multi-week and multi-blog SAVINGS and EARNING extravaganza all about “Putting a Little Jingle in your Pocket this Holiday Season!” My cohort in savings is none other then the lovely Becky from Franticmommy!

This week she posted: Jingle In Your Pocket (Ways to Earn Extra Money before Christmas!) Since you are reading this post you know that I am a blogger by profession which means I get free items to review and giveaway. These items can make wonderful Christmas gifts for family and friends. If you are not a blogger you can still earn Christmas money a number of ways. You could spend countless hours entering contests or giveaways and keeping your fingers crossed that you would win or you can join some programs that are a little more fun and guaranteed to payoff. I have used my affiliate links to help me earn more Christmas Gifts, too! Thank you for supporting this blog by joining any of the below mentioned programs or by tweeting or pinning! Click to share this post via Twitter: https://something2offer.com//ctt.ec/74cun

Ebates is a great way to earn money back for purchases you plan to make online anyways! They are offering all sorts of double percentages back for select stores. Be sure to sign-up today to enjoy additional savings!

ibotta a grocery savings app that pays for referrals and rebates on grocery items. Rebates for over 100,000 stores nationwide. Invite your friends and when they sign up AND redeem a rebate you’ll earn $5! woohoo Christmas shopping here I come. You are my friend right? WELL, what are you waiting for Sign-up for ibotta and earn some money, too! When your friends sign up with your referral code and receive their $10 welcome bonus, you’ll get $5. Plus, get a $25 bonus when you refer five friends through November 24th.

Snap by Groupon a great new app that gives you money back on groceries! Of course I found out about this an hour after I bought a gallon of milk and left the receipt with the cashier at the gas station!

Swagbucks– I seem to have a love hate relationship with Swagbucks! I like earning all those $5 Amazon gift cards but sometimes their search engine isn’t the best. Now that I have a Smartphone I use their apps. I have gotten out of the habit of running SwagTV while charging my phone which really racks up the points more easily and painless. Sign-up and get some friends to compete with you to earn a gift card by searching, watching, or answering the daily poll.

My Reader Rewards is a great program for Christians to join. You earn points for all sorts of things from surveys (you choose very simple ones to fill out), newsletter subscriptions, sharing about My Reader Rewards on blogs or social media, and posting reviews for books. I have earned books for last Christmas and this Christmas. I am so excited to have good quality Christian books, audio, and video’s to give! (Just telling you about this program and using my affiliate link earned me some points! Isn’t that fantastic!)

Remember not to keep all of these ideas to yourself! Share with a friend or two or hundred. I’m not too picky.

I know that everyone’s budget is getting smaller and smaller as utilities rise without anyway to reduce them unless you go “off-grid”, lol. We have cut out all sorts of expenses so I can stay home and now we want to leverage my time to gain some extra money.

I love Swagbucks! You just convinced me to join Tyndale Rewards. I can see doing okay getting books through that, as a fellow blogger.

These are fabulous tips. I was not familiar with any of them until reading your post! If I only had time to do one thing, which one would you recommend?

Capitol One 360 is a great way to budget and it allows you to have multiple savings accounts attached to one checking account. Plus at $20 referral bonus up to $1,000 this could be a great money maker! If you do a lot of shopping online I would say using Ebates all year long is the way to go plus you do earn $5 for each person you refer!! Bonus referrals until 12/31/2015. So signup and share your link via emails and twitter! Ibotta and Snap are apps on my phone and both are pretty quick an easy but I use a few more which I share about here: https://something2offer.com/7-ways-to-save-money-on-groceries/
