Who likes having their child quiet and engaged and learning all at the same time? It’s okay to jump up and down and yell, ” ME! Pick me”. Don’t laugh but I have had the supplies for this rainbow pill bottle pom-pom busy bag for a couple of years now. Since it’s almost St. Patrick’s Day I thought a rainbow activity would be a great one to start blogging about.
Let’s talk about busy bags and all of their glory. I have to admit that we own 2 crates full of busy bags and I have not blogged about ANY of them. I am admittedly a slacker blogger. I am hoarding all of our activities and busy bag goodness to myself, lol. I promise to share more about what is lurking in my two crates of mystery aka activity goodness as well as fresh new activities that are made for Big Red (turning 5 in April) and Lil’ Red who is 18 months.
For this particular busy bag you really have almost no prep after buying the items or ordering them from Amazon. Be sure your bag of pom-poms match the rainbow pill bottle. Once you are home open up the packages and discard properly. Grab a tray or zippered pouch to store your supplies. Then set-up you activity by unscrewing the rainbow pill bottles, laying out 1 matching pom-pom for each color and including tweezers or a scoop to make things more difficult. That’s it! Turn the busy bag over to your child and watch how quickly they dive in!
It was quite tricky for Big Red to screw the containers back together. I helped to show him how. He had no problem matching colors or using the tweezers!

Rainbow Pill Bottle ( Found at Dollar Tree)
Pom-Pom’s (Found at Dollar Tree)
Tray (from You guessed it Dollar Tree)
Tweezers from another wonderful activity from the CRATES of MYSTERY!!
This activity looked so amazing Lil Red was going to take the tray away from Big Red! Poor little guy had to be removed from the room to get the handful of usable pics for this activity! Rest assured he was offered a few other rainbow activities to help keep him occupied!
