Today I have an exciting blog hop and review to share with you. A huge group of Kid Blogger Network bloggers have come together to provide quality reviews of items that might be on your kid’s Holiday Wishlist. All of these toys are personally owned by each blogger and kid tested. Be sure to stop by each blog to check each review out at the bottom of this post.
We decided to review the Zoomer Zuppies digital puppy. I honestly had never heard of this toy since we do not have cable or watch anything other than Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus, and Netflix. My kids watch cable at Grandma’s and see plenty of commercials! On one of their overnight excursions they went to Walmart and each got to pick out a toy. Princess picked Candy the Zoomer Zuppies toy.
It is very important to read the instructions with or for your child! We returned one Zoomer Zuppies due to a mode not working. We put the batteries in and then played with it for awhile. The Music Mode was shutting off and NOT changing to the various songs and games. We took the batteries out and had set it aside to return it to the store. Princess put the batteries back in to play with it again for this review. Then all the sudden the Music Mode started to work. I have not read the instructions but my daughter and hubby did.
Lil’ Red and Big Red really enjoy Candy as much as Princess but the toy is listed for children 5 and over. They are only allowed to play with Candy under close supervision since this toy is almost $50 and NOT made to withstand the impact of a toddler throwing it.
There is a larger more expensive version that runs $100 or more. The full sized Zoomer Interactive Puppy can be found for anywhere between $79 to $99 on Amazon.
What we like about the Zoomer Zuppies:
My 10 year old daughter chose this toy. She thinks it is “so cute!”
A great alternative to a real live pet due to allergies or Housing Restrictions.
Princess’s favorite things about it: I really like the Music Mode and Fast Hands.
I also think it would make a great Christmas Present.
What we DON’T like about the Zoomer Zuppies:
The only thing we don’t like is that it takes Batteries! Remember how I talked about how expensive a battery-operated toy can be and the let down if the batteries run out in my post Educational Christmas Gifts.

My 6 tear old bought this with her allowance and it has a problem that after playing with it for a while it randomly goes from music or game back to dog mode. I notice this was mentioned in the review. I’ve tried removing the batteries and it seems to work for another few minutes and then happens again. Any suggestions other than returning it?
