We have been attending a local church’s Vacation Bible Adventure each Summer for the past six years or so. Each year we have gotten a little more creative and a little more crazy for Crazy Hair Day. The first year Princess was still a wee bit shy so her idea for crazy hair day was a French Braid. I cannot French braid so my mom offered to braid her hair for her. Eldest had his hair cut into a mohawk and then sprayed some red hair color on it.
I thought it would be fun to share some ideas for your very own crazy hair day do’s.
Crazy Colors– the quickest way to create a crazy hair day hairdo. You will want to but a couple of colors after Halloween to get a good price.
Stand Up Do’s– You don’t have to commit to a permanent do by using mousse or gel to stick your hair up in all sorts of crazy directions. Great option for boys.
Crazy Cuts– If the boys in your house are ready for a shorter do then making some crazy cuts in their hair might be just the ticket for their crazy hair day do’s.
Super Tall Do’s– Those with longer hair have lots of advantages with their hairdo choices. You can place a cup, ballon, or foam tower on your head and bring the hair up around it for a crazy tall hairdo. One girl had peacock feathers added to her hair!
Add-in’s– You can add somethings into your hairdo to make it crazy like pipe cleaners, glow sticks, crazy hair clips..We hot glued frogs and lizards to hair clips the year that Bible School had a theme of Jungle animals.
Have you seen the new Aflac Duck Salon commercial? It reminds me of a crazy hair day idea gone wrong but it’s so hysterical. It totally grabs you and gets right to the point that the Aflac duck is not a stylist but a partner in your day-to-day insurance coverage needs.
In the United States, Aflac is the leading provider of voluntary insurance at the work site. Aflac is different from health insurance; it’s insurance for daily living. Aflac pays cash benefits quickly and directly to you, unless otherwise assigned, to help with out-of-pocket expenses when you’re sick or hurt. The benefits are predetermined and paid regardless of any other insurance you have.
- When a policyholder gets sick or hurt, Aflac pays cash benefits fast – now in as little as ONE business day with the company’s new One Day Pay℠
- One Day Pay℠ is Aflac’s way of making sure eligible claims get processed and approved the same day they’re submitted, so policyholders can get paid in just a day. Aflac is built to process and pay – not to deny and delay – to help your life stay on track.
- A lot of insurance companies talk about how much money they’ll save policyholders on premiums, but people buy insurance to get paid when they need to file a claim. Aflac understands that claims matter and that it’s important to be there for their policyholders when they need it most.
