Rainbow Bears Washing Station Learning Activity

January 7, 2016 By Thaleia 8 Comments

While I was preparing some of our other Rainbow Bears activities I found a dirty little yellow bear! GASP! I almost ran over to the sink to wash it when I realized that I should just turn it into a fun learning activity.

Rainbow Bears Washing Station

I was already racing around the house digging out tools for the Rainbow Bears Sensory Bin, Rainbow Bears Color Tube Sort, and the Rainbow Bears Science Experiments so I had the grey tray and bears all ready to go.

I grabbed a few more supplies for this simple activity. I brought out a toddler bowl, wash cloth, toothbrush, medicine cup, and set them in front of Lil’ Red. As soon as he saw water was involved he was ready to play! He started to scrub the little dirty bear with the toothbrush. He did wipe it once with the Washcloth. Once he began to put the old yucky toothbrush in his mouth I ran to open up a new one hence the switch between blue and yellow. He loves pouring water from the bowl to the medicine cup and back again!

He tried to stack all three of the yellow bears in his bowl and they fell over. He then took the bears out to pour more water. Then he decided it was time to brush his teeth!

My little one loves to scrub things, too! I’m definitely hoping that interest transfers to brushing her teeth! Thanks for joining us at #FridayFrivolity and hope to see you again this week!

This is so cute! I think my kids would like this too. They really enjoy brushing their animals’ “teeth” already and my son adores playing in water. Thanks for the idea!
