I often talk about how much I hate Facebook and all their rules but I do use Facebook daily. I utilize it for VA Clients, researching blog post information to help other Type 1 Diabetes families or to find homeschool information. Many parents do not realize the value that Facebook can offer for homeschool families such as Curriculum Support Facebook Groups, Homeschool Method Facebook Groups, Free Homeschool Items Facebook Groups and Middle & High School Support Facebook Groups. I have so many groups to share that I thought it would be best to break them into individual posts so as not to be confusing.
Today I will share some of my favorite Facebook Groups that allow buying, selling, and swapping of used homeschool curriculum.Why pay full price when you can buy like new or slightly used? Why pay extra fees to list on eBay when you can post for free in a used homeschool curriculum group?
I would recommend that you find items that you need and compare prices via USED on Amazon and then be sure to pay via PayPal for Buyer’s Protection.
Used Homeschool Curriculum Facebook Groups
BJU Used Bob Jones Press Homeschool Items– This group is for BJU Press items only, we do allow selling items that go along with a BJU Press curriculum such as math manipulatives if you are selling them with the math. (If in doubt please ask).
Charlotte Mason/Ambleside/ Living Books/USED materials for sale/share/swap– This group is for buying, selling, or swapping books that relate to a Charlotte Mason, Living Book, literature based type of teaching/learning style. I love seeing what treasures can be found here. Let’s help each other find the books we love!
Five in a Row Curriculum Swap– This group is for buying/selling/Trading books that go along with the Five in a Row Curriculums (BFIAR, FIAR, etc). As administrator I am NOT responsible for any issues that may arise in your buying and selling.
Free Homeschooling Curriculum/ Sale Free Curriculum, Pay shipping– Free curriculum in the making, feel free to join in as we complete a full curriculum
HomeSchool Buy,Sell,Trade– This site is for homeschooles to buy, sell, or trade homeschool curriculum/supply’s. If you choose to engage in transactions with any parties not in your area via mail, or paypal that is at your discretion and the admins are not held libel for any problems incurred. That said if you do have problems with any fraudulent sellers please let me know and it will be looked into and dealt with.
Homeschool Curriculum Free for Shipping– This group is set up to allow people to donate their used curriculum (and other things too!) to other homeschooling families.

WOW, I didn’t know there was so many groups but I will be checking into them soon. Christmas is right around the corner and new books always make great Christmas Gifts. I also have a love hate relationship with Facebook but use it daily as well. And Thaleia don’t you have a group where you sell books at times?
