Wacky Wednesday- Puddle Splashing Time

April 29, 2015 By Thaleia

It’s time we bring back our Wacky Wednesday posts which give you a better glimpse into our family and all the crazy fun we have! Some people call it hump day but we rather enjoy the silly so we call it Wacky Wednesday.

What kid doesn’t enjoy a nice Spring rain where they are allowed some puddle splashing time? My children have enjoyed playing in mud puddles of all sorts and sizes as young as I will allow them. So far I haven’t taken Lil’ Red out much since he likes to eat all sorts of things.

Puddle Splashing Time

I have pictures of Eldest stomping wildly in a trash can lid. I have pictures of Princess running through the alley and around the block splashing till her hearts content. She was shocked at how wet her pants got. I thought it was cute!

Big Red loves the rain and begs to go out each time it’s not thundering and lightening. Luckily we found a Disney rain poncho last year at Goodwill for a great price. It also is big enough to last him a few more years.

What about times when you cannot enjoy rainy days? Maybe it’s too dangerous to be outside, maybe someone is sick or maybe you have a new baby. Well, all of this has prompted me to host the A to Z Rainy Day Activities Blog Hop!
