Butterfly Sensory Bin Guest Post for Rainy Day Mum

Today I have a guest post on Rainy Day Mum about our Butterfly Sensory Bin that I made to go along with the book Caterpillars, Bugs and Butterflies: Take-Along Guide. It is one of the posts in her Storybook Summer 2016 series.

Butterfly Sensory Bin

All you will need are a few simple things for this fun activity that is sure to please your bug loving preschooler!

Materials Needed:

Preschool Tongs

Plastic Bugs or Butterflies

Sensory Filler like Green Grass

Plastic Tub or empty pretzel container

Caterpillars, Bugs and Butterflies: Take-Along Guide

    I love Butterfly’s as they remind me of my daughter Suzzane who passed away. So I can not wait to check into these and use them in our Homeschool Classroom. Plus I want to check into her Storybook Summer series.

    I don’t see as many butterflies as when I was a kid. We recently took our 2 yorkies on a doggy day picnic & road trip and saw a Monarch in the park we had lunch in. This was my very thought & how excited I got as a grown woman to actually see one.
