CK-12 Middle School Math Grade 6, Volume 1 Of 2

CK-12’s Middle School Math Grade 6 covers the fundamentals of fractions, decimals, and geometry. Also explored are units of measurement, graphing concepts, and strategies for utilizing the book’s content in practical situations. Volume 1 includes the first 6 chapters.

CK-12 Foundation’s Algebra FlexBook is an introduction to algebraic concepts for the high school student. Topics include: Equations & Functions, Real Numbers, Equations of Lines, Solving Systems of Equations & Quadratic Equations.

Fun Maths for High School- This is a free database of maths worksheets and problems and are printable directly from your browser for classroom or homework use or creating lesson plans.

Homeschool Math– offers free printable worksheets for 1st to 7th grade.

Math with Larry -free source of online math help for older students

Math Review can be used to provide additional information and examples on selected topics or to refresh your memory about things you have learned in other math classes.

Math Vids– free video tutorials

Master Math– free video lessons, quizzes, and worksheets. All available by donation!

MathMovesU is a math program that does not bore

Math Apprentice-invites students to play the role of an intern at one of eight companies in a growing metropolis. Students are greeted by an employee of the company who then explains the math behind the job. They may then choose to solve specific problems or explore math concepts on their own.

Gemoetry from Anneberg Learner– Geometry introduces geometric reasoning as a method for problem solving. Throughout the first nine sessions, you will explore the properties of geometric figures, make constructions using pencil and paper and dynamic software, practice using mathematical language to express ideas and justify your reasoning, and begin to explore the basis of formal mathematical proofs and solid geometry. The course material progresses from more visual, intuitive ways of solving problems to more formal explorations of geometric ideas, properties, and, finally, proofs. The 10th session explores ways to apply the concepts of geometry you’ve learned in K-8 classrooms.
