Since we homeschool I honestly do not know if my kids even know about groundhog day. I mean my teens probably have heard of it but not quite sure Big Red and Little Red have heard about it. Since we do live a few blocks away from where we have often spotted a real-life groundhog I thought it would be fun to create a book list to learn more.

Groundhog may be full of himself, but chances are good that, by the end of this book, you’ll agree he’s pretty wonderful! From the illustrator of the Junie B.
