We love taking advantage of various Summer Reading Club programs from a variety of different libraries. Since I look up lots of different Summer Reading Club dates and activities I thought I would share those with my loyal local readers! Our family usually takes part in a handful of programs at various library locations around the Miami Valley but I am always looking for more free family friendly events especially for my teens. (Edited: With the limitations put on libraries and parks due to the coronavirus I thought I better update this post every couple of weeks during 2020)
Each Summer I build our calendar around the free programs that I find and Summer Reading Club programs are a big part in our fun! I am loving all the variety of programs the libraries I have contacted so far have told me about from STEM to music to art. We also make sure to prepare Summer Reading spaces as soon as the weather is warm and are sure to look up the Kids Summer Movie schedule.
