This week we are featuring PRETEND PLAY TOYS! Since I have three sons and a daughter I thought it would be a good idea to share some of their favorite pretend play toys with you. Who want’s to spend money on something that the recipient isn’t thrilled with? This frugal mommy only buys things I know will be played with!

Girls Pretend Play Toys

Baby Dolls- even at 9 years of age my daughter still loves playing mommy!

Costumes are always fun like Wonder Woman or little Ninja!

Microphone- Princess was given a microphone from a popular tv show.

Play Kitchen and plastic food- most little girls love playing house and some boys, too!

Ballerina and Princess Costumes- My daughter has been in ballet for at least 3 years but would prance around the house hours on end before we enrolled her in classes.

Boys Pretend Play Toys

Weapons & Army Outfits- always popular with my boys from Police to Swat to Army guy

Things that go like Cozy Coupes, tricycles, and Shopping Carts. I ended up “spending” my diapers rewards points for Lil’ Red’s 2nd birthday to buy him a shopping cart! He really liked the box at first.
