I cannot believe that it’s March already! With Easter and Spring right around the corner it’s time to pull out the plastic eggs and have some fine more activity fun!
I love using items that I have had around the house from other craft projects or activities. I honestly cannot remember where I bought the small plastic eggs that were used in this fine motor activity but they are small enough to fit into a mini muffin pan. They do not pop open and are meant more for decoration then egg hunting.

Every once in a while I find items that I had forgotten that I had bought a few years earlier for homeschool. Last week I found a coin sorting and money counting workbook that included the plastic coins.
I created a very simple coin sorting activity for kids both Preschool and Kindergarten age. I wanted a simple activity that both Lil’ Red and Big Red could do to learn some simple money concepts, counting, and coin sorting just seemed to be a great place to start.

In honor of AA Milne’s birthday on January 18th Peakle Pie is celebrating by having a blog hop for all things to do with Winnie the Pooh – stories, activities, games, sensory, recipes, crafts and so on – the more the merrier! While I was preparing some of our other Rainbow Bears activities I found a dirty little yellow bear! GASP! I almost ran over to the sink to wash it when I realized that I should just turn it into a fun learning activity.
I was already racing around the house digging out tools for the Rainbow Bears Sensory Bin, Rainbow Bears Color Tube Sort, and the Rainbow Bears Science Experiments so I had the grey tray and bears all ready to go.
