Need a Great Ergonomic Gaming Computer Mouse ?

June 6, 2015 By Eldest Leave a Comment

The world is filled with technology. Computers are everywhere. You can find them in library’s, work offices, home offices, and even in preschool classrooms. People spend numerous hours on the PC each and every week and a big part of a computer is the mouse. The mouse lets you take control over what you are doing, what links you’re clicking on and helps when playing games. As a consumer you should have the best technology that you can afford for the “job” that you are going to do.

Great Ergonomic Gaming Computer Mouse

The standard mouse that comes with a typical personal computer is a great starter item. If you are not going to use it for many hours of the day or are not doing detailed graphic work you can stick with it. If you are anything like my family and enjoy pc gaming and blog work then you need a mouse that is of higher quality. This is why I would suggest you checking out a Scroll Fly Ergonomic Gaming Computer Mouse from Etekcitizen.

The product specs are as follows: USB 2.0 & 3.0, 6 ft. cord,  Windows XP/Vista/7/8, and offers 400/800/1600/3200 DPI as well as Symmetrical and ergonomic design give comfort for long time use.

It has 4 settings of CPI. CPI means Counts Per Inch, It’s how fast you mouse pointer speed is. For gaming the highest setting is recommended as you have much faster pointer speed, perfect for FPS Games.

It does not glow on the lowest setting of CPI.

It glows red on the second setting of CPI.

It glows yellow on the third setting of CPI.

And green on the highest setting of CPI.

The feel of the ScrollFly is amazing. It’s very comfortable and is easy to convert from a normal mouse to this one. It’s also very easy to change the CPI settings. With the press of a button you can change. It’s also helpful for graphics, if you need precise detail on something, you can easily change which CPI setting the mouse is set at without having to go into your PC control panel.

Overall, this is a really good mouse and just as good quality as say, a RAZOR gaming mouse. I have had no problems with this mouse and you don’t even need an install disc. You just plug it in to a USB port and you’re done. This is a really great ergonomic gaming mouse for any age gamer or digital graphics designer and I highly recommend it.

My Score 9/10

Disclosure: As part of the EtekCitizen blog program, I received a complimentary product for review. All opinions are my own.

Around the World in 30 Days: France Mini Unit Study

June 3, 2015 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

My daughter has been on a French kick for most of this school year so when we needed to choose a country for the Around the World in 30 Days,  France just made sense. We want to share a variety of French resources for all ages of children and skill level for your home or school. I am calling this a mini unit study. I will share some unique activities that we created from easy to find supplies either from home or the craft store.

France Mini Unit Study

I did not go and buy anything for our learning but thought of some activities that could be used to learn a variety of skills while learning about France. This post contains affiliate links which allows Something 2 Offer to earn a small percentage of all items purchased through Amazon.com at NO extra cost to you! ABC’s of American History: V is for Victory

June 2, 2015 By Thaleia

As an American, there are few things I love more than celebrating freedom. Sometimes a victory comes with the pull of the trigger, the raising of a white flag or the stroke of a pen. And, while I prefer victories to come without bloodshed I am always and forever grateful to those who sacrifice their hearts, minds and bodies for freedom.

DIY Raised Garden Beds with Pallets

June 1, 2015 By Thaleia

We have seen all sorts of ideas all over the internet and on pinterest using pallets. Since I want to expand our garden and just learned that raised garden beds offer double the yield of a normal row garden I really wanted to put our pallet raised garden beds to use. A month of so ago some of our potatoes from the grocery began to grow. I decided to plant them in a large pot to see if they would continue to sprout and grow. They did.

I was really lazy and placed the entire potato with multiple eyes sprouting without dividing it up first. It worked out really well to pull the plants apart at the base of the stalks just above ground. This is when I discovered that they were indeed growing little potatoes from the tip of a pen size to small bouncy ball size!

Impromptu Science: Going on a Bug Hunt

May 28, 2015 By Thaleia

One morning my little boys were getting a little stir crazy and so was mommy. I decided to take them outside to hunt for bugs. We had recently bought new magnifying glasses from Dollar General and had bug barns that we made at Home Depot. They both thought this was a wonderful idea. They both hurried to get their socks and shoes and jackets on. No fussing and fighting just plain fun.
