Easy File Transfer with the 16GB OTG USB Flash Drive

February 7, 2015 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

Did you or your child receive new tech for Christmas? Maybe you bought an item with a micro USB slot but not a mini! What will you do for file transfers, photo sharing, etc? I have had a chance to review an item that is a perfect solution to this problem. It is Onite’s 16GB OTG USB flash drive. This particular USB Flash Drive operates on 2.0 which is awesome.

Onite Dual USB flash drive Collage

We plugged the Onite OTG mini USB end into our laptop and then transferred files to the USB flash drive. After ejecting the USB Flash Drive from the laptop we then plugged the micro end into our Moto X smartphone. We were able to transfer some songs from our laptop right to our phone with ease.

Compatible Models:
Samsung Galaxy Note, Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy SI, Galaxy SII I9100,I9103,9108, Galaxy SIII i9300, Galaxy S4 i9500; Motorola XOOM, TG01, Nokia N8, E7 etc. other Cell Phones and Tablet which support OTG Function.

Product Description:
– Stylish:portable, lightweight and using the new concept style
– Speedy: plug and play, complies with USB 2.0 specification, blazing-fast data transmission speeds
– Safe and reliable:rewritable for one million times, data can be stored for 10 years
– Data encryption; entire disk or partition data encryption

While we were unable to transfer pictures to or from my Moto X (which is not on the compatible device list), it worked perfectly for transferring all types of files to and from our daughter’s NEXTBOOK 10.1″ tablet.

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. I have used affiliate links to provide a quick reference to specific products which does support our site.
