Fall Rainboot Outfit #MommyStyle

November 10, 2015 By Thaleia 1 Comment

The Fall weather was not really normal the other day it was gorgeous and sunny so we ventured outside. I decided to wear a cute outfit for part of our nature hike so I could get some pictures.  I am the one that’s usually behind the camera but this time Princess and my hubby took some pictures of me in this super cute Fall Rainboot outfit.

What are you doing to up your #MommyStyle from frumpy to fashionable?

Here’s a break down of what I wore and where it came from:

I wore a white long sleeved lightweight cardigan that I found at a thrift store or garage sale. I had been searching one for at least a year but I am too frugal to spend $20-$30 on one! As soon as I saw one under $3 I snatched it right up!

The short sleeve black cotton v-neck shirt was a cheap shirt I had found at Walmart and bought it in 5 other colors, lol. Yes, I am pretty lazy when it comes to style and when I find a shirt that fits well and comfortably I snag a few! If I remember correctly I paid $5 for this cotton shirt and it’s a great piece to wear all year long depending on how you layer your outfit.

The scarf was a gift from my children for my birthday or Christmas last year. I am pretty sure they found a good deal and probably spent under $10 for it. I have vowed to try to look a little more fashionable and less frumpy. This infinity scarf fits that bill to dress up a plain shirt or outfit in a snap.

I bought the dark skinny jeans from a garage sale a few years ago before Lil’ Red was born. Then I couldn’t fit into them but held onto them because they were in brand new shape when I bought them. Alas, I can now wear them any day of the month! I only spent $2 or $2 on them although they were originally $25-$45 depending on which brand and store you bought them.

The Nomad rainboots were given to me for review and giveaway (which will be coming out soon). I was super excited to hear back from Nomad Footwear and be able to choose a super cute pair of rainboots! I chose Puddles III It’s Spring!

Similar pieces to what I wore:

Women’s Basic Solid Sweater Cardigans
Solid Cap-Sleeve V-Neck T-Shirt
Women’s Infinity Waves Scarf
Levi’s Women’s Mid-Rise Skinny Jean
Nomad Women’s Puddles III Rain Shoe

So there you have it..a super cute and affordable way to incorporate rainboots into your Fall Wardrobe! Remember you do not have to spend top dollar in order to put an outfit together and still look great!
