Pampers #ThankYouNurses Awards Program

November 12, 2015 By Thaleia 23 Comments

This post was made possible by iConnect and Pampers. I was provided compensation to facilitate this post, but all opinions are 100% mine.

I don’t know about you but I am very thankful for nurses! I didn’t have a lot of contact with nurses outside the doctors office until my four children were born. I delivered all of my children in a natural family birthing area of a local major hospital. These kind and caring souls helped me labor, deliver, and experience the best post-partum experiences a mom could ask for. Without the expert care of the nurses we encountered those first hours with each of our newborns could have been a disaster.

Pampers Nurses

We believe in skin-to-skin contact and breastfeeding. We had a birth plan with each pregnancy and everything was followed as best as could be. Eldest was a long and difficult labor that ended with an OR delivery and four days in the NICU. Even though our bonding was different then the other three, we still had excellent care from the nurses we encountered.

Are you thankful for nurses? Do you have one that stands out to you whom you would like to nominate for the Thank You Nurses Award? Be sure to read through the instruction below so you can participate in the Pampers Swaddlers Thank You Nurses Award.

A whole lot of nurses made a difference in my life!! I have had so many medical problems that I call them my “earth angels”! They really made a difference when they found the tumor on my spine. I needed help with everything – walking – sitting, etc.
I had chemo, radiation, a stem cell transplant, Aredia!! I was in Rush Medical Center for over a month in a sterilized room. I could go on, but I don;t want to bore you!

My favorite nurse was my nieces nurse! She was born too early and weighed only 1 pound 9 ounces. Her Nurse Lindsay was so wonderful with the whole family. She had so much compassion. She was so good to pick you up on the harder days, or even for a hug when you needed it the most. Today my niece is a healthy 7 year old and we are still very close with her nurse!

I agree nurses are wonderful! Some patients can be so ornery and the nurses try their very best. I try to make their job easier. Thanks for sharing with SYC.

My favorite nurse is the lady that just showed my husband and I around the Labor & Delivery unit. I’m due in a month and a half and am very nervous! The nurse was very reassuring and made us feel very comfortable!
