My Personal Tree Removal Service and We Love Weekends Linky

I love the outdoors and nature and gardening but hate weeds! Each time I have gotten pregnant a new set of  weeds has gotten the chance to take root. Some of these darn things have grown to be big enough to be considered small trees.

Tree Removal Service

Well, this year we are taking back our flower beds, yard fence line, and our tractor tire. Que in my personal tree removal service aka 4 kids! My boys loved having the go ahead to dig in the tire after I cut back the crazy branches.

The fun really began after the soil was loose enough to wiggle the trees around. Each child took turns digging, wiggling, and pulling on the tree stumps. After just one day we successfully removed one broken tree but the roots remain. The 2nd tree has lasted three days so far which really is a good thing. I was worried that once the trees were gone that the tire would lose it’s appeal.

Another issue is shade for my fair skinned red heads! I tried using our large picnic table umbrella but it was too windy. Then Princess helped secure a tarp onto a few Shepherd’s hooks until the wind really picked up.

How about you, do you have yard work you’ve put off? Try to make a fun learning activity and the work will be done before you know it.

More projects we plan to tackle: water wall, mud kitchen, hopscotch path, painted rocks, strawberry pallet planters, Shady Playspace, Backyard Obstacle course, and many more fun activities i have collected from pinterest!

I wish tree stump removal could always be so easy. We are doing gardening projects in our yard as well. We have had a stump there for awhile. I tried to do something with it every year but, I think it is finally time to get rid of it. I doubt it will come out easy though.
