Need to get out and burn up some energy? How about trying some Disc Golf? The craze has seemed to pop up everywhere over the last few years. Our local community college has Disc Golf. The larger town south of us has Disc Golf. The county below us has Disc Golf at 2 or 3 of their metroparks.

My kids were begging not too long ago to play at the college, which is closest and the college their parents attend. So today I decided if the weather wasn’t downright horrible we would head out to the college near the end of hubby’s shift. Then call him up and have him join us for a few stations of Disc Golf. I think doing a whole course would not happen with Lil’ Red being 30 mths. His attention span and ability to walk the entire course could make a fun event turn into a whining hassle:)

Check out your local resources; be it a city park, county park, college or local state park to see if you have Disc Golf near you or look on Disc Golf Course Review! Remember homeschooling doesn’t mean you have to sit at home and study or play. Get out and {Spice Up Your Homeschooling} today!
