10 Nativity Crafts and Activities for Children

November 20, 2016 By Thaleia 4 Comments

If your family is like ours and celebrate Christmas with a Nativity then this post will be a great resource of Nativity Crafts and Activities for Children. I have included activites for toddlers to school age children in hopes that these things will suit most families.

Nativity Crafts and Activities for Children

If you have a printer and some felt you can create this cite Geometric Shapes Nativity Scene from Mama Smiles.

Who wouldn’t want to make a keepsake Footprint Manger Tiles found on Fun Handprint Art or some really neat Clay Nativity Ornaments from Crafty Moms Share.

Maybe you want to teach your child more about the Nativity with a  Montessori apporach like this  Nativity 3-Part Cards from Christian Montessori Networkor check out the variety of work trays and activities for Little Drummer Boy from Every Star is Different.

Toddlers will enjoy this Toilet Roll Nativity – The Camel from Red Ted Art which can easily be created and doesn’t cost much in case it gets destroyed by tot or pet!

Do you have a story teller in your house? Then you will want to make these Nativity Story Stones that I found on Crafty Moms Share or these cool Nativity Story with Paper Puppets from Planet Smarty.

Grab a plastic tub and some sensory items to create this Nativity Sensory Bin just like Growing Hands on Kids.

My last suggestion is a Homemade Nativity Set from Sugar Aunts which might help occupy some children for part of an afternoon!

Thanks for sharing these great ideas and links for nativity crafts for little ones. My daughter has been looking for ideas of nativity activities to start introducing with my two year old granddaughter. 🙂
