BB Riverboat Cruise

October 12, 2015 By Thaleia 3 Comments

This post is a conversation on behalf of Meet NKY and BB Riverboats.

We recently had a chance to attend the BB Riverboat’s Pirates of the Ohio Cruise. A super fun 90 minute cruise filled with tons of Pirate Activities like Walking the Plank, Swabbing the Deck, and even a Sword Fight! This was our family’s first time on a sightseeing cruise and it was the perfect mix of relaxed time and activity time. The weather was gorgeous to be out on the deck but there was plenty of room inside in case of bad weather.

Everyone had lots of fun enjoying all the activities! We were greeted by some friendly pirates that offered us hats, eye patches, and tatoos. My kids love goodie bags and dress-up items so this was a total score for them!

Princess and Big Red loved walking the plank. They each took a couple of turns. Your first time across the plank was normal facing forward but each time after that got ore difficult from walking backwards to hopping on one foot!

Lil’ Red loved seeing the sites from inside and out on the deck. He was amzaed at all the tall buildings and the bridges we went by. I even remembered to get a selfie with my hubby.

Eldest loved the water gun fight on the top deck with one of the pirates! Somedays it takes a lot for him to be excited or smiling due to having diabetes:( As you can tell from the pictures even he had some fun!

Hubby and I had been on a dinner cruise long ago and I remember the food being really good! You might want to book your dinner cruise early so it’s not sold out! Be sure to join Club BB in order to receive discounts and buy 1 get 1 birthday coupons.

BB Riverboats offers tons of special themed cruises that are just right for families with children as well as couples. If you are looking for a fun boat adventure check out all that BB Riverboats has to offer!

Disclosure: We recieved tickets to this attraction in exchange for our honest review.

They did an awesome job having just enough activities planned that you weren’t bored or rushed. My hubby was impressed and it takes A LOT to impress him!

We have never done something like this with or without kids but this looks like loads of fun! I’ll have to check it out :).
