Ugly Freebie Calendar into DIY Chic

My sister NEVER passes up the chance for something free especially something she uses everyday and would have to buy anyways. Our mom picked up some ugly freebie calendar’s from a local car supply store. I passed on it due to the size of the calendar not the ugliness. I did keep one in case hubby needed a calendar/planner for work.

Frugal Christmas Tradition Ideas

Frugal Christmas Tradition Ideas

Oh, Christmas time Oh Christmas time Oh how I love Christmas time! I love the sights, the sounds, the smells, and all the wonderful family friendly Christmas traditions that can be had at this time of year. I’ve thought about ways to make Christmas standout in my children’s minds as a time to celebrate Jesus’ birth by making meaningful memories as a family.

I know when people think of Christmas traditions you might think of decorations, candy, recipes, songs, or how you celebrate Christmas day. I think about all the frugal Christmas Tradition activities that can be had. (Yes, I have been known to “drag” our children out the door to participate in an event that I knew would be fun!) Usually my kids thank me afterwards for all the fun they do end up having!
We found a couple local treasures a few years ago that are NOT TO BE MISSED events for our family. Even though they are local to us doesn’t mean you can’t find something similar in your neck of the woods:)

Today I am guest posting over at Frugal Homeschool Family talking about our Frugal Christmas Traditions as part of Heather’s 25 Days of Frugal Christmas!
