Fun Ways to Play with Handmade ABC’s

August 17, 2015 By Thaleia

Day 1 of a five day series all about fun ways to play with ABC’s. I know as both a parent and an educator that sometimes the most obvious things and simple things can be the most fun! I wanted to collaborate with other educational bloggers to share a variety of ideas to help the young children in your life learn all about ABC’s in hands-on experiential way!

Today I am going to share with you a very simple activity. I had two sizes of popsicle sticks and leftover scrapbook stickers. To see the complete details hop on over to the post: Upper and Lower Case ABC Matching Sticks

Fun Ways to Play with Handmade ABC

We hope you join us each day this week as we share some fun ideas for handmade ABC’s, Seasonal ABC’s, Sensory ABC’s, Natural ABC’s, and Store Bought ABC’s. Each day I will be featuring one of my own projects as well as the projects of the other bloggers!

Upper and Lower Case ABC Matching Sticks

August 16, 2015 By Thaleia 12 Comments

Today I am going to share with you a very simple activity to practice upper and lower case ABC. I had two sizes of popsicle sticks and leftover scrapbook stickers. Sometimes an educational activity practically falls right into your lap. This activity used items that we had leftover from other projects and so the cost is negligible. You wouldn’t even need stickers if you have nice handwriting! I do not care for my handwriting or the time it would take for me to write tiny and neat so I choose to use stickers.
