Celebrate Sharing God’s Word with Seeds Family Worship

Last week was the launch of “The Word of God” Seed Family Worship’s latest music album. We are super excited to be part of the promotional efforts. We own four albums: Seeds of Courage, Seeds of Faith, Seeds of Praise, and Seeds of Purpose. (I have used affiliate links within my post for your reference and ease of purchasing the music.) They have many more albums that we are working on buying one at a time so we can enjoy each one. I am so tempted to go ahead and buy the other albums so we have a complete set! I love the fact that when you buy a physical album you get a 2nd cd to GIVEAWAY!! What a great way to share God’s Word. It’s all about planting “seeds”.

 

When I first heard about Seeds Family Worship I was a little leery that the songs would be too childish or annoying. You got to admit some Bible songs just need to stay within the Sunday School classroom. (I think you know what I mean.) I wanted songs that I could remember, that are catchy, and a way to memorize God’s Word. Seeds Family Worship songs foot the bill on all three accounts. Here’s what Seeds have to say

Seeds Family Worship is music-based ministry that creates word for word scripture songs for families. These are not your old school bible songs; these are relevant, well-written modern worship songs.

I completely agree with this statement wholeheartedly. I was very excited to be contacted by Seeds Family Worship, via Twitter nonetheless, and asked to review this album! We have used Seeds Family Worship songs as part of our Bible curriculum and Handwriting Curriculum for the past three years in our homeschool. The verdict is in- so far “The Word of God” is our favorite song on the entire album. Still going to listen through a few more times just in case we have a tie or change our minds,lol.

For those of you who are musically inclined be sure to check out the cord charts for 7 of their albums. What a great way to worship at home or at church than to learn to play some of your favorite songs. Maybe you just want to check out a live performance or animated music video, then head to Seeds Youtube channel for a visual worship experience!

My kids were super excited to receive not only the music but t-shirts (which mom had asked if those could be added as a bonus! THANK YOU Jason and Linda Houser!) and stickers!  We had been diligently checking our porch each day almost hourly on some days in anticipation. Once the package was opened the t-shirts were put on. Eldest was very excited by the shirt and said, ” I like this even though I was hoping for a Morph suit.” Who know’s maybe the Houser’s will wear a green Morph suit at a future concert? I guess if you ever decide to my son would gladly wear it for you, lol.
