City Park (Tipp City, Ohio)

June 26, 2017 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

Today we are sharing our visit to City Park in Tipp City, Ohio! This park is a wonderful place to visit no matter what the season since there are so many places to be in the shade as well as many benches to rest.City Park Tipp City, Ohio

The first piece of equipment my children ran to get on was the Teeter Totter! My youngest son may have only seen this type of equipment one other time in his life! I love that my children can play on playground equipment like when I was a child.

City Park offers not one but two swing sets for bigger children to swing and play on. This makes City Park a great place for larger groups.

Old metal slides and Merry-Go-Rounds are a family favorite and City Park has both which keep my kids super busy running, sliding, and spinning!City Park slide and Merry-Go-Round

A great place for a photo opp is the rock structure that can be climbed on or stood around. The tunnel underneath is fun for younger children to walk and run through.City Park Rock Structure

This play structure at City Park was dubbed “The Pirate Ship” by Lil’ Red. It was difficult to pull him away from this pirate ship but with the promise to go to a splash play area did the trick.

City Park offers a Roundhouse that can be reserved for family reunions, meetings, or baby showers.

This picture was taken to show some of the vastness that City Park offers but does not do the park justice. There’s so much more to this park both paved walking and bike paths as well as benches under large shade trees.

If you drive by this sign don’t keep going but turn in and spend some time allowing your children to run, climb, and play at City Park in Tipp City, Ohio.

Pros of City Park-

  • Lots of play structures that could easily house 30-40 children.
  • Paved walking and bike paths.

Cons of City Park-

  • Bathrooms are only located in the field house at the south end of the park past the Roundhouse.
  • Not a lot of parking in the park but more on street parking.

City Park is located at the corner of Parkwood and 3rd St. in Tipp City, Ohio
