Homeschool Lunch Ideas

March 30, 2014 By Thaleia 5 Comments

What? Pack a lunch you say? But you homeschool, why would you need to pack a lunch? Just because we have school at home does not mean that we are house bound all the time. We eat lunch and need lunch ideas just like everyone else. Plus we stay pretty busy with gym days, field trips, ballet practice, 4-H, and nature programs. We also want to stay fed and hydrated!

All boys and girls love drinking Fruit Shoot fruit drink!

We cannot afford to “drive-thru” each and every time we are out and about which makes packing a lunch or snack bag essential to our homeschool budget. We are a very food and taste driven family. We also love conveniences like cheese sticks, granola bars, and juice boxes! Here’s where Fruitshoot comes in handy.

When we do stay at home we like to stay active which results in the need for SNACKS! My husband doesn’t like the idea of our children filling up on candy and empty calories. We have created a good solution for this via the Snack Basket! We try to keep it stocked with fresh fruit all year round.

A healthy snack basket includes fresh fruit, healthy nuts and delicious Fruit Shoot!

We want to share some of our favorite things about Fruitshoot. It has a new no-spill cap, perfect for children of all ages, and contains no fructose corn syrup, making it a much better option than other flavored drinks.

This fun hydration drink is perfect for energetic, independent kids who desire fun on the go. It contains real fruit juice, no high-fructose corn syrup, and no added sugar or natural flavors.

Fruitshoot lets moms balance the hydration their kids need with the taste that they love, making hydration fun for kids and easy for moms.

Fruitshoot also features an innovative no-spill cap (no more juice stains in the car!) making it easy for kids to be independent and on the go. These vibrant fun colored bottles come in tasty flavors of Orange, Apple, Berry Burst, and Strawberry/Raspberry.

Disclosure:  Many thanks to Fruitshoot for sponsoring this post and inspiring me to share fun solutions for my kids’ lunches!

My kids love these! The only place I have found them sold were at the gas station. I’ve never seen them sold in a pack? I would like to know where to find them and a price per pack. Any ideas?

I’ve seen these and my children have asked for them but they are so expensive – I’d rather buy a happy meal than pay the price for these, especially knowing how fast they’d be gone.

This is our go-to road trip drink at the gas station. My kids love these!

My kids love those! I love them because they are good for them! I recently saw them at Walmart in packs of 6 for less then 4$. Steal!

Ooh! These look great! My kids would love them. Perfect to take to the park, the lake, or even the library (since they are non-spill). They would be great for camping, too! Thanks for sharing!
