As the snow continues to fall and temps stay below 20 degrees here in Ohio, we need to become more creative in expending energy. Our Indoor PE choices are quite limited but can be extended with the use of exercise stretch bands. My kids love trying new things and these bands from Fitteroy are great. They come in three different weights: Light, Medium, and Heavy and can be used even by our 4 1/2 year old with supervision.

Fitteroy Exercise Bands Great option for Indoor PE #fitteroy

Hubby and I need to work on stretching our backs and building more muscle tone and feel that exercise bands are a great gentle way to get started. Our kids like being able to stretch with them and stand on them. They are great for beginning basic resistance training and helping with flexibility.

Here’s what the company has to say about these exercise bands:

Fitteroy™ Flat Resistance Bands  includes 3 Bands (Light, Medium, and Heavy), Door Anchor, and Illustrated Instruction Sheet. Ideal for strength training exercises, pilates, physical therapy, and rehabilitation. A great alternative to conventional weights and heavy exercise equipment. Fitteroy™ resistance bands are made from the highest quality natural rubber latex for ultimate durability and elasticity.

Resistance bands are designed to work well for people of all fitness levels and abilities. The resistance provided by the elastic band is based on the amount the band is stretched, as well as the thickness of the band. Unlike free weights, resistance bands provide the exerciser with constant tension on the muscles. This allows you to focus on both the concentric (lifting) and eccentric (lowering) portion of the exercise resulting in more complete muscle stimulation.

Fitteroy™ resistance bands come in a standard length of 5 ft. They offer a smooth and consistent stretch every time. They work great at muscle toning and strengthening. Convenient and easy to use at the gym, home, office and on the go.

Going on vacation? Need a convenient way to get a good workout? Look no further…………Fitteroy™ Resistance Bands is the answer!

I love that exercise bands do not take up a lot of space and do not require a bunch of skill to use. My children loved being able to stretch and pull with the bands.

Princess says- ” I really like them. They are really easy to use. Instead of having to go t the gym the gym is brought to you!”

Boy is this girl smart. I do not want to spend time lugging kids out to the van, buckling them in, packing snacks, and then lugging them into the nursery at our local YMCA! Of course you have the membership fees, fitness clothes, water bottles, etc. If you stay home you can exercise in your jammies and no one will be the wiser!

Big Red says- “I love them so much. I love that they stretch!”

So what have you been doing during all these super cold Winter days to stay fit and healthy? We would love to have you leave a comment with any fun Indoor PE ideas that you have!
