Riley and I went on a couples road trip to Columbus last Spring and have yet to share our adventures. Today I am sharing with you an Ohio oddity located in Dublin, Ohio called Field of Corn which makes for a great stop on a road trip to Columbus. I had first heard about this Field of Corn from Tonya Prater of Travel Inspired Living!
Since this road trip attraction is free and open to the public I knew that we would want to check this Concrete Field of Corn out for ourselves. We drove up to the location and were quite surprised at how precise the rows of corn cobs had been erected. I can envision our children running through the rows and around the corn cobs playing tag or hide and seek!
Since it was just the two of us I decided to take pictures of Riley taking pictures of the concrete corn cobs because he was taking them from a more artistic angle then I did. This picture is what I took of him while kneeling on the ground.
The below picture is the resulting picture of what Riley was taking above to give you an idea for the angle and photographic result.
This is the second picture that I took of Riley taking pictures of the Field of Corn but at a different angle. In this picture he is standing!
This is the picture that Riley took which gives another perspective of the corn kernels.
This attraction is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year and is considered a Sculpture Museum as well as part of Dublin’s Art in Public Places. If you would like to take a tour of the art around Dublin you can do so with your cell phone.
In order for you to locate this unique roadside attraction I decided to add a map so you can locate this concrete corn field for yourself!

We loved exploring lots of the public art in Dublin last year. It’s so fun to be driving along and come across these interesting installations! Thanks for sharing.
We were here last summer too and when I saw this, I just had to have my husband pull over! So cool!
This is an awesome free place to visit! Somebody was passionate enough to build this!
That is a unique place to visit. How fun!
