This is our second November to be personally involved in Type 1 Diabetes since Eldest was diangosed 12/13/14. Just like last year JDRF is offering a free overlay that says, “T1D Looks Like Me”. It is easy and you can turn any picture into a Type 1 Diabetes support image! I am sharing one of Eldest’s Halloween costume pictures that I added the “T1D Looks Like Me” overlay below.
This is supposed to be an estimation of the supplies that Eldest has used since diagnosis. I believe that it’s a little low on the number of finger pricks.
We are saving all of his test strips and pen needles in a glass mason jar to show just how many sticks he gets each month. I know it will be quite astounding to see a tangible visual.
Day #2 of #projectbluenovember is all about Memories. So I am sharing some of our T1D memories with you.
