Liberty Threads Crochet Shop

Amy Michelle from Liberty Threads Shop

 Amy Michelle

Hello, my name is Amy Pierce, owner and operator of Liberty Threads. I am a stay at home wife and mom. I am madly in love with my husband of 6 years. He is an inspiration to my work and encourages me in all of my crochet ventures. My children are four and two. I am currently homeschooling my four-year old, we do a mixture of pre-k and kindergarten work.

I absolutely adore my work, I am able to work when the kids are napping or going to bed for the night. Currently, I am working on a few amazing projects; a red riding hood cape for a photographer, a beautiful flowered scarf for a photographer and a few Christmas orders that I am finishing up. (I still have to sit down and crochet all of my family and friends Christmas presents too….)

I am excited to announce that I am coming out with a line of products for photographers. They are unique pieces that will add a little “pop and boom” to the shots. They will be for sale, however, I will be renting most of them. My business is headed more in the direction of teen/adult items, although I do still love to make hats for children. Thank you for stopping by and checking out Liberty Threads!

Jessica Rose

My name is Jessica Rose, but my friends call me Jess, so lets just stick with that. 🙂 I’m 26, and in love with my life! I wear many hats: wife & mom (aka. errand runner, house cleaner, cook, boo-boo kisser, tickle machine, etc. 🙂 ), employee, and jewelry maker!
My husband and I met in college, and fell pretty quickly for each other. It wasn’t love at first sight, but something like that. The conversation was easy, and we felt an instant connection. And we’ve been married for 4 1/2 years now!

We have two babies: Ryder (2 yrs.) and Mila (1 yrs.).My children and my man are the loves of my life. And even tho my kiddos run around the house causing yelling at the tops of their lungs and leave toys everywhere, It’s all part of my crazy beautiful life!

Oh, and there’s this other thing I love: making jewelry! Its been a passion of mine for a few years now. I love the opportunities it brings to meet so many great, amazing people! It all started when my husband gave me a jewelry making kit for Christmas one year. And the rest, as they say, is history. Now I have a website up where I sell some of my pieces. I also have the opportunity to do house parties for my jewelry. Those are really fun because we do drawings, and people win free pieces. In addition to the website and the house parties, I make custom jewelry as well, whether it be casual or more dressy. I’ve done jewelry for weddings, as well, which I especially love because I get to work hand in hand with the bride, designing pieces for her and/or her bridesmaids!

I hope you get a chance to come check out my site full of little lovelies! If you’d like custom/wedding pieces as well please contact me on Etsy or via email! Thank you!!! 🙂

Adopting Nations Etsy Shop

Adopting Nations Etsy Shop

Jen Ruble

Our biggest passion is to see others put their hope and trust in Christ. God has set the nations in our heart and has blessed us over the years to travel to many nations on missions trips. Through that, we have felt the desire to adopt internationally from Africa and start a family. Our hope is to adopt two kids! Therefore, I named our store: Adopting Nations

Since we are both school teachers, and adoption is very costly, I began to think of ways to raise money after school hours and remembered that I can sew! My grandma taught me at a young age, and I love the idea that even though she isn’t with me physically, her legacy lives on through my sewing and is bring her great grandchildren home. I love fabrics, especially ones I find internationally like batiks, and I love the creative process as well. I sew anything my heart can dream up but mostly home decor items such as pillowcases, blankets, purses, tote bags, etc…

Besides raising money for our adoption, my hope is that people will be encouraged by the story of our journey to trust God more in their own adoption journey or whatever it is that they are believing to happen in their families. You can follow our journey and read our story on our Adopting Nations Blog.

 Dana Hillesheim

I’m a part-time stay at home mom of three amazing kids ages 21, 20, and 14. Our family has always been into music and art and we LOVE to be creative! Sister9designs is my outlet for creativity!

In January, 2012 I discovered infinity scarves! They have been a great addition to my shop and I really enjoy experimenting with new colors and color combinations. I am always happy to make custom-colored scarves for my clients.

I also offer cozy sweatshirt fleece blankets and sweatpants that can be personalized with a name, high school or college name, jersey number, graduation year – you name it.

My favorite thing about having a shop on Etsy is the acquaintances and friendships I’ve made along the way with fellow Etsians all over the world! My time on Etsy these past 2 years has been much more enjoyable and rewarding than I ever imagined it could be!

Hookin’ The Legal Way Etsy Shop

Hookin’ The Legal Way Etsy Shop

lauren frank hookin' it the legal way etsy shop

Lauren Frank

Hi, I’m Lauren and I own the Etsy shop Hookin’ {the legal way}. I am a self taught hooker {the legal kind…as in crocheting…hence the shop name}. I started teaching myself as a teen & fell in love with it! My mom is a knitter and as hard as I tried to learn it {ok. I didn’t try that hard} I just couldn’t get the hang of the whole two needle thing. Since I taught myself how to crochet {this was before there were a million tutorials up on YouTube}, I mainly stuck to blankets and scarves since they were the easiest things to make…until I got pregnant later on in life.

Once I had my baby girl, I was a crocheting machine! I YouTubed every crochet bootie & hat tutorial and quickly learned how to do more and more stitches. I was soon able to crochet a whole bunch of baby items…and I did! Being that my daughter doesn’t need 20 hats or 12 pairs of booties…I decided to open up shop. You might know my shop as Crocheting for Baby, but since I started buying more patterns for adult items I just recently changed my shop name since my items will soon be a mix of baby, toddler, teen & adult crochet wear.

I put the same love and care into making each item sold that I do when I make things for my daughter {or myself}.

You can also find be in blogland as Tutus & Tea Parties where I blog about parenting, teaching & crafting! I even post some crochet patterns every now and again. I’d love for you to stop on by and say hello {I don’t bite…promise}!
