Binoculars: Which Ones are for You?

Binoculars: Which Ones are for You?

We have bought a variety of binoculars for a variety of price points from $5 on up. Some were purchased at the store, a few were gifted, and one pair was a great bargain found at a garage sale. If you do not own a pair and money isn’t available, then ask around to see if a family member or friend has a spare pair to borrow. If you can spend some money then think of the size and weight that you want. Will you be staying home to bird watch or will you be heading outdoors? Do you want to see birds that are farther than a couple of hundred feet away? It is important to answer these questions before you spend money. Once you answer those questions then you can begin your search to purchase a pair of binoculars.

Simple Chocolate Pudding Pie

I am sure you can find tons of Chocolate Pudding Pie recipes around the internet but I still wanted to share mine with you. This is a hybrid of my mom’s cheesecake recipe and my hubby’s aunt’s chocolate pudding pie recipe. I know that these pies have been called ice-box pies as well.

My sister is continuing with her goal of 4 new recipes per month for 2014. She decided to start this last year. She and her hubby diligently tried a variety of recipes from breakfast to desserts to entrees. Some recipes were crockpot friendly others lent themselves well to being baked in the oven.

January 8, 2014 By Thaleia 13 Comments

What is Wacky Wednesday? Last year we created WACKY WEDNESDAY to help us get over hump day and try to remember to do something fun and unusual on Wednesdays. Not every Wednesday is Wacky Wednesday, but we try to do something a little crazy or nature-oriented.
