Simple Ways to Relax and Recharge

December 12, 2015 By Thaleia 31 Comments

I was provided an Aroma Sense Luxury Shower Head with Vitamin C for review and giveaway. I was not compensated in any way for this post. All opinions are my own. I am not a medical doctor or herbalist so please consult your own when deciding to use essential oils or a diffuser.

Are you looking for a good way to relax and recharge after all the holiday preparation craziness? How about winding down after a long week at work or at home with the kids? I homeschool  four children AND work at home in a small house so I know how stressed a mom can get. Sometimes I can’t even take a quick shower without drama!

If your toddler screams at the top of his lungs for no reason or your preteens start to argue and fight over who’s turn it is to play video games THEN you need to give one of these 5 Ways to Relax and Recharge a try.

How to Teach Your Daughter to Braid Hair

December 7, 2015 By Thaleia 3 Comments

This is a conversation sponsored by Stunning Braids by Monaé Everett. I was provided with a copy of the book for review and a chance to give a copy away!

I have never been able to do a French braid or anything too fancy with my own hair. Since Princess didn’t have much hair until she was two years old and she has super curly hair I didn’t get to create fancy little do’s on her. She started doing her own hair sometime between age five and seven. What’s a mom to do when your daughter wants to learn more fancy up do’s and twists and braids?

How to Teach Your Daughter to Braid Hair

Well, I turned to a wonderful step by step book called, Stunning Braids! I love this book for the variety of braids but also the breakdown of all the hair products, combs, and accessories that are needed to create the various hairdo’s.
