7 Ways to Save Money on Groceries

October 28, 2015 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

I have used affiliate links and referral codes in this post. Hope you have fun saving money as much as we do!

Who likes to spend all your hard earned money on groceries? Not me! I would much rather get the best deals that I can while not breaking the bank to feed my family. I used to be the Queen of Coupons in my family but quit using them when all my local stores got rid of super doubles and double coupons. I can now still save money with virtual coupons and savings apps!

It also took lots of time and organization which has since went out the window with 4 kids! So if you want to save money on groceries without pulling your hair out then give some of these a try. I know you won’t be disappointed that you did.

Today I would like to share with you a fun way to learn with a pumpkin. Big Red actually picked this pumpkin from our very own garden a few weeks ago. He brought it in all by himself. Since this was technically HIS pumpkin that he plans on making soup with I decided we should do something that was educational but not damaging to the pumpkin!

Cutting Expenses Without Giving Up Your Cell Phone

October 21, 2015 By Thaleia 6 Comments

I woke up to a $ sign in the status bar of my cell phone. Guess what that means? My cellphone bill was processed overnight AND I was refunded for the data I didn’t use last month! My hubby and I have been with Republic Wireless for over two years and we love the lower bills while still having a smartphone!

Cutting Expenses Without Giving Up Your Cell PhoneDitch that pricey iPhone. You do not need it seriously. It’s a total waste of money to buy something that will HAVE to be replaced when the battery dies off.

I just realized we have been in the season of Autumn for a month and I haven’t even pulled out our Autumn and Thanksgiving books yet! We have a nice variety of books for preschoolers that I love sharing with my four children each year.  Now that my oldest two are 12 years old and 11 years old they can read the books to the younger two boys.
