Pampers #ThankYouNurses Awards Program

November 12, 2015 By Thaleia 23 Comments

This post was made possible by iConnect and Pampers. I was provided compensation to facilitate this post, but all opinions are 100% mine.

I don’t know about you but I am very thankful for nurses! I didn’t have a lot of contact with nurses outside the doctors office until my four children were born. I delivered all of my children in a natural family birthing area of a local major hospital. These kind and caring souls helped me labor, deliver, and experience the best post-partum experiences a mom could ask for. Without the expert care of the nurses we encountered those first hours with each of our newborns could have been a disaster.

Pampers Nurses

We believe in skin-to-skin contact and breastfeeding. We had a birth plan with each pregnancy and everything was followed as best as could be. Eldest was a long and difficult labor that ended with an OR delivery and four days in the NICU. Even though our bonding was different then the other three, we still had excellent care from the nurses we encountered.

Fall Rainboot Outfit #MommyStyle

November 10, 2015 By Thaleia 1 Comment

The Fall weather was not really normal the other day it was gorgeous and sunny so we ventured outside. I decided to wear a cute outfit for part of our nature hike so I could get some pictures.  I am the one that’s usually behind the camera but this time Princess and my hubby took some pictures of me in this super cute Fall Rainboot outfit.

Christmas: A Gift for Every Heart

November 6, 2015 By Thaleia 8 Comments

I received this book from Family Christian in exchange for an honest review.

The thought of Christmas can bring to mind some many different images and memories. For some you think of warmth and family to others you think of the hustle and bustle of present shopping. What about the thoughts of that baby born in a Manger? What do you do to prepare your heart for Christmas? How do you share this special time of year with others?

Charles F. Stanley has recently released a book called Christmas A Gift for Every Heart which takes an in-depth look at a variety of aspects of Christmas. Stanley shares some personal stories about how God overcame his loneliness and how God has provided comfort to him. He shares Christ’s birth from the perspective of different characters in the story.

Christmas A Gift for Every Heart

If you are like so many people that feel lonely or miss loved ones at this time of year then you need to read this book. It will give you encouragement while you allow God to lift up your spirit and focus on His gift to you- HIS SON and eternal life!

Cook Up Some Fun with Little Tikes Kitchen

November 4, 2015 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

We were very lucky to be given a Little Tikes kitchen for Lil’ Red and Big Red to play with! My uncles friend was giving hers away and it’s in almost new condition. As soon as it was brought into the house Lil’ Red couldn’t be taken away from it! I was sure the novelty would wear off after a day or two-NOPE!
