Star Wars Light Saber Fine Motor Activity

May 3, 2015 By Thaleia 5 Comments

May the Fourth be With You! Do you have a ton of Star Wars fans at your house? My house has three boys plus a daddy that go crazy for action scenes with light sabers. All of my children enjoy dressing up no matter what character or superhero they are into at the moment. Since we have full sized light sabers I thought it would be fun to create a tot tray variety for Lil’ Red. I also love creating activities that use materials we already have around the house.

This post is part of a Kid Blogger Network Star Wars Blog Hop so be sure to check out all the other incredible ideas at the bottom of this post! Hope you enjoy our Star Wars Light Saber fine motor activity!

Katty Market Teething Necklace

April 18, 2015 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

I received a free necklace and teething toy aka bracelet from Katty Market regardless all opinions are my own. As of April 2017 their shop on Etsy is no longer up.

The hardest thing about choosing a new piece of jewelry even a teething necklace is picking just the right one. The variety of styles of teething jewelry is incredible: Neutral options, rainbow options, ombre/gradient options, some with matching bracelets and some without. Some designs offered a dangling center piece while others offered an extra teething ring. The bracelets can double as a teething toy which is super duper nice since it is smaller for little hands.

I honestly couldn’t choose but narrowed it down to my top three choices. From those choices I asked that Andrey and Katty surprise me with one of my choices. They DID and I LOVE THEIR CHOICE!!!  I was sent the Rainbow Nursing Jewelry set. This teething necklace and bracelet set couldn’t have arrived at a better time. Lil’ Red is in the height of teething and gnawing which can be painful for us breastfeeding mommies! I now have a lovely alternative that saves me from the pain of those little teeth.

I love the rainbow colors since I have a nice variety of colors to my wardrobe that match some of the colors in the necklace. If you like more subdued or neutral colors there are plenty of designs to choose from. I am thinking of treating myself to a couple more just to complete my wardrobe with a neutral necklace and an ombre necklace in my most worn color (probably green or purple)!

I would have loved to receive a necklace like this for a baby shower gift. I cannot wait until my sister gets pregnant so I can order one for her. I might even order these for some of the grandma’s and mother’s in my life just because they are so cool and fashionable. Even if you don’t have a little teething tot in your life these teething necklaces or bracelets make for a nice fashion statement.

Make Toddler Mealtime Easy with Gerber

April 1, 2015 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

This post is part of a sponsored campaign with Gerber and MomSelect. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love finding great deals and opportunities to share with my family and friends. I opened my email the other day to find a great opportunity to share Gerber’s Win Win Moments campaign with you. We are not new to Gerber or Gerber Graduates products but just don’t buy them very often. When we used to get gobs of coupons in the mail we would always have some Gerber products on hand for on the go. Now we are a little more frugal and the coupons have showed up less often.

Toddlers First Choice Gummy Vitamins

March 21, 2015 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

Oh, the wonderful invention of gummy vitamins. What did we do without them? Back in the olden days we used to eat nourishing food that provided most of our nutrients. Now with kids becoming picky especially toddlers getting a balanced meal is very tricky.

gummy vitamins for toddlers #ToddlersFirstChoiceGummyVitamins

My older kids already have their own gummy vitamins which made introducing these gummy vitamins to our toddler very easy. He thought he was big stuff when he was finally allowed to chew a vitamin right after mom tried one first of course.

Why Toddlers First Choice Gummy Vitamins:

Give Your Child The Best Health They Deserve
When it came time to give our toddler vitamins we realized that many vitamins were not very good tasting and difficult to chew, especially for the picky or difficult eater. So we designed Toddler’s First Choice Gummy Vitamins. Your toddlers will have better tasting and easier to eat multivitamins given to them by those who care the most about them, their mom and dad!

– High Levels Of Vitamins A,E,B-6,Pantothenic Acid
– Also For An Excellent Source Of Vitamin C, Biotin And Zinc
– 150% Of The Recommended Dosage Of Vitamin D. Vitamin D plays a key role in the body’s absorption of calcium. Without Vitamin D, your child’s body may struggle to absorb the calcium received from their diet. Vitamin D may also strengthen and improve the immune system.

I have found that these gummy vitamins are easy to chew and taste good. That doesn’t always mean Lil’ Red will eat his vitamin but love reaching into the jar to retrieve his own!

Toogli Organic Silicone Teething Pendant

March 12, 2015 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

Anyone else dealing with a fussy baby or teething toddler? My Toogli teething necklace came in the mail as we were leaving for an eye doctor appointment. I brought it along and opened it up. As soon as Lil’ Red saw that dangling #teethingbling he grabbed for the Toogli right away and stuck it in his mouth! So it is attractive for a mobile toddler who is still teething.

Yes, I know you should probably wash it first and all that but this poor little guy was suffering from those side teeth. He really likes the Toogli and also likes to yank it off mom’s neck which isn’t too big a deal because of the “break away” latch.

Fashionable 100% Organic Food Grade Silicone pendant provides natural teething pain relief for your baby. Necklace looks great on mom and keeps the teether off the floor and away from dangerous germs and bacteria. Includes exclusive free bonus set of replacement necklace clasps. Highly attractive packaging makes a great gift for any moms on your list.

Toogli Organic Silicone Teething  necklace is very nice to wear for fashion as well as a way to keep your teething baby or toddler busy. I would definitely recommend this item be placed on your baby registry or your gift list for those moms with babies or toddlers.
