Warmer weather beacons children to be outside and play. If you are lucky enough to live near a playground then you can enjoy some of these jungle gym fun outdoor activities.

Jungle Gym Fun Outdoor Activities

Rock Painting for Kids

April 27, 2016 By Thaleia 2 Comments

What do you do when the weather is nice and the kids are bored? Send them outside for rock painting of course! The first step is gathering the rocks and washing the rocks before the fun begins!

Rock Painting for Kids

My kids were so quick at finding their rocks and washing them that I didn’t even get pictures. Oh, well maybe next time. We used an empty ice cream bucket to give the rocks a bath and an old towel to dry them.

Dominoes Sensory Bin

March 22, 2016 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

Today I am sharing with you a way to play with dominoes for your toddler or preschooler. I created a dominoes sensory bin for Lil’ Red to enjoy.

February 16, 2016 By Thaleia 5 Comments

Today I want to share with you a fun Magnetic Letters Spelling Sensory Bin . We just so happen to have tons of magnetic letters, a magnetic wand, and a tray that is magnetic as well. I actually have a plastic tub on my back porch labeled Alphabet which houses  a dozen different letter materials including foam letters, eraser letters, red and blue letters, Braille letters, and flashcards with simple Spelling words.
