How Do You Use it?

Never heard of coconut oil? Neither had I until about 3 weeks ago when searching through all natural recipes online. I was wanting to learn some new things about becoming a wee bit more sustainable and thought making my own deodorant  lotion bars, lotions, salves, and vapor rubs would be good places to start! I already have been making my own laundry detergent for the last 3 years so why not try something new.

I found so many wonderful ideas that I started pinning them to my Natural Remedies Board. I have over 100 items pinned there from facial masks to lotion bars to cold remedies to body scrubs. Most of them could be made and given as a uber frugal Christmas gift!

I started noticing that lots of the recipes called for Coconut Oil. I saw that it was a solid that turned into a liquid and had no idea where to buy it. I figure it would be super pricey and located only at health food stores.
