Our First Trip to Cedar Point and Hotel Breakers

June 22, 2015 By Thaleia 5 Comments

As a Cedar Point blogger, I received a complimentary stay at Hotel Breakers and tickets to Cedar Point. All opinions are my own.

Believe it or not I am the only one of my family that has ever been to Cedar Point until recently. We had the privilege to visit Cedar Point Amusement Park AND stay at Hotel Breakers. I was really excited when I first read the email that we were accepted into the #BloggingatCP program. This program allows bloggers to visit the various properties of Cedar Point and then share their experiences over social media and via blog post.

Join me as I tell about our first trip to Cedar Point.  It all started 9 weeks before our arrival date as I read an email from Bryan Edwards offering us a stay at the gorgeously remodeled Hotel Breakers and a day of fun at Cedar Point!

June 21, 2015 By Thaleia

Any time of year can be great for a road trip but Summer seems to be peak season to load up your car and your kids and hit the road! We have had a few chances this year to go out of town so far. Ways a Breast Pump Can Be Your Friend

June 20, 2015 By Thaleia

If you are pregnant or a new mom then I am sure you have been learning all about breastfeeding and breast pumps. You might wonder why a SAHM might need a breast pump. There are numerous reasons why a breast pump will come in handy.

Ways a Breast Pump Can Be Your Friend

1. Medical Issues with newborn– If your baby is born a preemie, has latch issues or is put into the NICU then a breast pump will come in handy with helping your milk supply come in. Yes, you may feel silly pumping when only a drop of colostrum is all you have but trust me it is well worth it.

2. Multiple Births- I personally have not had twins or multiples so I am only speaking from some ideas from other moms. You may not be able to get your newborns to nurse at a schedule that will allow you some sanity. Using a breast pump would allow another caregiver to feed your infants while you rest. This could be a very good thing or bad thing depending on the reliability of your help and your babies resistance to a bottle.

Backyard Camping Ideas and We Love Weekends

June 19, 2015 By Thaleia

My 5 year old has been begging to camp outdoors since a few weeks before his birthday in April. Since the weather was very cold then I promised him that once the weather got warmer we’d camp out. Well, now the weather has been in the mid 90’s during the day and only cooling down to mid 70’s at night-ACK! I am watching the weather like a hawk for a good night the little boys and I can camp out back.
