Growing up I remember hearing and sing a lot of Christmas Carols and silly Christmas songs some of which my children do not know. One of the ways I share new things with our children is through a good book. While my children do not always remember the exact words to songs I figured sharing a book with a Christmas song as the main story would help them remember. Can you really remember all the words to “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” for example? I know I certainly cannot. I also forget many of the verses of more common Christmas Songs since we only sing them for one month a year.

With three boys and a girl I have discovered that all of our kids love adventure! Whether it be a family vacation, visiting grandma’s house or participating in a homeschool class or event they all find something fun to do in every activity.
