Passive Income for Christmas?

December 19, 2012 By Thaleia 3 Comments

Passive Income for Christmas?

Passive income is a way to make money while you sleep or have fun with your family. You do have to put in some initial “work” but then you can be away from “work” for a while and still continue to bring in money. Passive Income is what may save the American Dream for some of us. I am no expert but am willing to share some tips and ideas that I know and use.

Swagbucks– I do the daily poll and use Swagbucks to look up stuff instead of google. (sorry google) The more people who are referred by me the more swagbucks I earn which translates into $5 Amazon Gift Cards! If you have NOT already signed up for Swagbucks I encourage you to do so. It’s easy money. Click to join Swagbucks!

Ads on website- if you blog all you have to do is install ads into your website for pay-per-impression or pay-per-click ads. Both have their advantages. Go Daddy is one of the websites I am an affiliate with for the pay-per-click.

Affiliate links in posts or newsletter- lots of places to get affiliate links, e-junkie is just one of many places where you can get many affiliates from one site.

Tyndale Rewards-Just joined already have enough pts. earned to select a Book or Narnia Audio CD for Silver Chair. This is very exciting for this budget loving mom.

Like I said I am NO expert, but just a mommy blogger trying to find a way to boost our income and play I mean work at home while I’m doing it. With the cost of childcare and the desire to home educate, we just cannot afford for both parents to be at work in this economy where you have to be available from 5am to 10pm for a first shift job! Employers really do not want or have to work around your college schedule or your spouses work schedule to save you childcare costs! Companies are not seeking the best employee for the job but the one most available for the job with or without the best skills. This is very frustrating for someone like me who doesn’t have a BA (yet) but has lots of experience in business and some in marketing, good computer skills, phone and fax skills.

Still not convinced passive income is for you? Did you know there are LOTS and LOTS of bloggers that make $1,000 or more a month from the comfort of their homes! Right now I would be very happy with $500. So if you want to learn more about passive income check out these experts who are making money and how they are doing it:

Organic Outreach for Families

Organic Outreach for Families by Kevin and Sherry Harney

Organic Outreach for Families by Kevin and Sherry Harney is a very powerful book. It is a guide to lead your family on a life-long, life changing  journey to Jesus. If this book had been written a decade or two ago, I believe there would never have been a Marilyn Manson.  Christian parents, church leaders, and pastors need to LISTEN to the word of God and actively practice what is says.

Giveaway: Sentry Electronic Fire-Safe with USB Connection

December 15, 2012 By Thaleia 2 Comments

Sentry Electronic Fire-Safe with USB Connection

I have teamed up with Mizz Review Lady and a host of other bloggers to bring you this awesome giveaway!!! Be sure to read her review below, and then enter the giveaway for a Sentry Electronic Fire-Safe with USB connection(Big Bolts USB Safe).

It’s not too late to purchase a safe for your loved ones for Christmas!  Sentry Safe offers a wide selection of innovative safes to fit your every need and desire. No matter what you need to protect they have you covered!  From electronics to guns and even digital media, if you’ve got it, they can protect it!

Sentry Safe has a history of providing customers with high quality safes; in fact, they have been satisfying happy customers for 80 years now, spanning for three generations.  This family owned company was founded in 1930 by John Joh D. Bush Sr. and Willard Punnett. They were the very first to bring consumers the UL classified fire-resistant safe in 1955.  Sentry Safe is dedicated to bringing customers reliable safes, while providing them with a pleasant shopping experience.

I was recently given the opportunity to select a safe from their gift guide,  so as you can imagine I was super excited!  Especially by the fact that I was going to receive a safe from Sentry Safe, because I knew I would be receiving the most utmost quality safe.  Besides that I have been having to store my valuable jewelry at my parents house because I did not have a safe place to put it, that is until I received the Sentry Electronic Fire-Safe with USB connection(Big Bolts USB Safe), from Sentry Safe. I was mostly excited to review this extraordinary safe because it allows me to stay connected to my protected data via a USB 2.0 connection, allowing me to access my protected data while it’s stored in my safe.

The Sentry Electronic Fire-Safe with USB Connection safe has many different useful features including:

  • Advanced and ETL verified 1 hour fire and drop protection to keep your belongings intact and safe
  • Bright, LED interior lighting to make organizing belongings easier
  • 1.2 Cubic Foot Capacity
  • A multi position tray which allows for easy organization
  • ETL verified 15 ft. drop test
  • Dual electronic lock and key increases security
  • 4 live-locking bolts are 60% larger and help prevent unwanted entry and access

And those are just some of this incredible products features!  I have to say I love the fact that it includes an electronic lock and a key making it impossible for my children to break into. That being said I also love the fact that after 5 unsuccessful attempts to enter the code, it automatically shuts down for fifteen minutes. The safe includes a bolt down kit which allows you to bolt it down so that nobody can take off with it.  Even though, I must say it is very heavy, so it’s not the easiest to steal in the first place.  It includes a bright LED light so that you can easily see inside of it, even at night-time.

Since I have received the safe I have got so much use out of it, and so has my husband.  He was able to store his money, and extra set of keys in it, while I am able to store my jewelry, important documents, and expensive electronics in it.  We can rest assure that they are safe from theft, and even fires and floods.  Yes, I said fires and floods!  This is because the safe has a fire and water-resistant design.

This safe is just one of many that Sentry Safe are featuring in their holiday gift guide this year.  Scroll down to the bottom of the gift guide and you will find a link that will allow you to print out a copy of the guide, so you can bring it along with you shopping.

LEARN MORE: To learn more be sure to visit Sentry Safe online, like them on Facebook page, and follow them on Twitter.

BUY IT: You can purchase the Big Bolts USB Safe online at Amazon.

WIN IT: Thanks to Sentry Safe one lucky reader will receive a Big Bolts USB Safe, just like the one pictured in the post.
