Princess has been blessed with naturally curly hair that is super springy. She takes after her dad which is wonderful until it’s time for to put her hair up for ballet or she wants a change. I grew up using a curling iron but bought a very inexpensive flat iron as an adult. I rarely do much with my hair but really want my daughter to be more confident in her skills. I will be teaching her how to use a flat iron hair straightener to achieve a variety of hairstyles more easily.

We will be using a Gurin Ceramic Tourmaline Flat Iron to see if we can straighten Princess’ super curly hair. I started out by plugging the flat iron in and turning it on to low. While the flat iron heated up Princess brushed through her hair.

Here are our tips for using a flat iron:

Keep Bugs Out with a Magnetic Screen Door

March 26, 2015 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

Have you been waiting for Spring? Can you smell the fresh Spring air? Not if you don’t have a screen door or your window screens in! We have really old windows on our back porch that don’t open and don’t have a screen door. We aren’t ready to invest money on sprucing up our “storage” space just yet.

Confessions of a Prodigal Son

March 22, 2015 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

This post is part of a paid advertorial through Business 2 Blogger. All opinions are my own. Affiliate links are used in this post.

I would like to think that everyone has heard the story of the Prodigal Son, but I know in my heart that isn’t the case. Many people do not grow up in a church or even know of God’s existence. Many have been told contrary stories and beliefs. Movies like Confessions of a Prodigal Son allows those who are lost and those who have never heard the story of Jesus’ never-ending love to be told in a way that can reach someone outside of a church.

Toddlers First Choice Gummy Vitamins

March 21, 2015 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

Oh, the wonderful invention of gummy vitamins. What did we do without them? Back in the olden days we used to eat nourishing food that provided most of our nutrients. Now with kids becoming picky especially toddlers getting a balanced meal is very tricky.

gummy vitamins for toddlers #ToddlersFirstChoiceGummyVitamins

My older kids already have their own gummy vitamins which made introducing these gummy vitamins to our toddler very easy. He thought he was big stuff when he was finally allowed to chew a vitamin right after mom tried one first of course.

Why Toddlers First Choice Gummy Vitamins:

Give Your Child The Best Health They Deserve
When it came time to give our toddler vitamins we realized that many vitamins were not very good tasting and difficult to chew, especially for the picky or difficult eater. So we designed Toddler’s First Choice Gummy Vitamins. Your toddlers will have better tasting and easier to eat multivitamins given to them by those who care the most about them, their mom and dad!

– High Levels Of Vitamins A,E,B-6,Pantothenic Acid
– Also For An Excellent Source Of Vitamin C, Biotin And Zinc
– 150% Of The Recommended Dosage Of Vitamin D. Vitamin D plays a key role in the body’s absorption of calcium. Without Vitamin D, your child’s body may struggle to absorb the calcium received from their diet. Vitamin D may also strengthen and improve the immune system.

I have found that these gummy vitamins are easy to chew and taste good. That doesn’t always mean Lil’ Red will eat his vitamin but love reaching into the jar to retrieve his own!

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. I have used affiliate links to provide a quick reference to specific products which does support our site.
