Indoor PE with Exercise Stretch Bands

March 4, 2015 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

As the snow continues to fall and temps stay below 20 degrees here in Ohio, we need to become more creative in expending energy. Our Indoor PE choices are quite limited but can be extended with the use of exercise stretch bands. My kids love trying new things and these bands from Fitteroy are great. They come in three different weights: Light, Medium, and Heavy and can be used even by our 4 1/2 year old with supervision.

Power Theory Portable Charger Keeps Your Cell Charged

February 27, 2015 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

If you have cell phones and children, then you know the importance of keeping your cell charged.  If you like to go places that might now have an outlet to charge your phone then you will want to bring a portable power theory power card to keep your cell charged. I agreed to review this fun piece of tech because I saw the value in owning a quick charging power pack for on-the-go.

Build a Firm Foundation with 30 Days of 7th Grade Devotions

February 21, 2015 By Thaleia 3 Comments

Middle school is a tough time in a child’s life. These years are a time to build a firm foundation for life, hopefully in Christ. I am already finding it tougher to connect with my growing tweens! I do not want them to distance themselves from me or God any further than where they are right now. I saw an opportunity to review 7th Grade: Growing Your Faith A 30-Day Devotional by Lars Rood and was excited to see what it had to offer.

Beautiful Name Necklaces and Monogram Jewelry

February 13, 2015 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

Most people think of jewelry for presents and seeing that Christmas has past something like a name necklace might not be on the top of your shopping list. I would definitely keep your eye out for great deals from monogramonline.com for Mother’s Day, graduation, and wedding jewelry gifts. I choose my daughter’s name to review but since we do not reveal our children’s real names I cannot show you a picture of that specific necklace. Believe me when I tell you she was super excited to receive her very own piece of jewelry with her name on it. For those of us with slightly unusual names or NOT the most common of spellings you can get YOUR NAME or your initials on a wonderful piece of jewelry.

I would like to point out the keepsake quality of this line of monogram jewelry. I could see someone wanting to buy a name necklace for a newborn or for a Sweet Sixteen birthday present. Newlyweds might appreciate the quality of a monogrammed piece of jewelry to celebrate their new union. Even anniversary presents could be found on the Monogram Online site. Even though my hubby and I have been married for over 15 years we do not own a single piece of monogrammed anything, lol. Not towels, mats, plaques, or monogram jewelry. I guess that could be added to gift list.

When it comes to fine monogrammed and name jewelry, MonogramOnline.com is in the top of its class — from silver and gold necklaces shaped into first names to cufflinks etched with initials. But that’s not all the gift-focused website is about – its huge selection of monogram-ready wares include, but are not limited to, iPhone cases, kitchenware, to sporting goods. There is something for everyone!

So if you are looking for a unique gift for that special person or the hard to buy for someone then think about a piece of monogram jewelry.

Sports Armband NOT Just for Workouts

February 9, 2015 By Thaleia Leave a Comment

Are you tweens or small teens jealous of your sports armband? You can now order one that is just their size via Limm Sports Armband for iphone 5/5s/5c/4/4s and ipod touch 4/5. This particular armband fits my slim upper arm just barely and it’s the regular size but Limm now offers a new SLIM size that fits smaller arms!
