Calling All Sponsors!

Places I Want to Go in 2013!

Calling all sponsors places to go in 2013

This blogging mom is ready. I am ready to learn, to explore, to be stretched.                         I feel that the only way to do that is to get out. GO. BE. DO!                                                   It’s time to grab the bull by the horns and DREAM BIG!

I have found some of the most educational and interactive places that I WANT TO GO in 2013. Would you be willing to help me get there? I’m calling all sponsors from large companies to blog reader’s such as yourself.  This is a group effort and will take lots of different people praying and doing to make 2013 the best!

First I will tell you where and why, then I will explain how. Yes, I am dreaming big, but that is how winner’s are found and dreams come true!

Cocunut Oil: What is That and How Do You Use It?

Cocunut Oil: What is That &

How Do You Use it?

coconut oil

Never heard of coconut oil? Neither had I until about 3 weeks ago when searching through all natural recipes online. I was wanting to learn some new things about becoming a wee bit more sustainable and thought making my own deodorant  lotion bars, lotions, salves, and vapor rubs would be good places to start! I already have been making my own laundry detergent for the last 3 years so why not try something new.

I found so many wonderful ideas that I started pinning them to my Natural Remedies Board. I have over 100 items pinned there from facial masks to lotion bars to cold remedies to body scrubs. Most of them could be made and given as a uber frugal Christmas gift!

122 Uses for #Coconut Oil

I started noticing that lots of the recipes called for Coconut Oil. I saw that it was a solid that turned into a liquid and had no idea where to buy it. I figure it would be super pricey and located only at health food stores. Then low and behold I saw a blogger opportunity from Tropical Traditions where little old ME could receive a sample and offer my readers a chance to win a quart of Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil!

No Time to Blog: Sledding 2012

No Time to Blog: Sledding 2012

Well, we were busy sledding today so no long blog post. No super wonderful recipe or craft idea. No well wishes for 2013. No goals reveal. No new giveaway. YES, those all will be coming soon I promise. Some really great things are in the works, but for today just enjoy this collage of us sledding.

sledding

Lil’ Red rode the sled all by himself. I should have had someone ride down ahead of him to get a picture of his face. He enjoyed it even though he tipped over at the end. Eldest ran down the hill after him to be sure he was safe!

Lots of single sledding and double sledding. We dug out our old-fashioned wooden sled and realized we really need a 3rd sled so we can enjoy more sledding and less waiting! Maybe we will borrow another wooden sled from my parents when we go over there to visit our cousins from Texas!

Faith by Heather Bixler Book Blast & $50 Gift Card Giveaway

Faith by Heather Bixler Book Blast

$50 Amazon Gift Card or Paypal Cash

Faith by Heather Bixler 4 week Bible Study

 Summary:

In this four week mini Bible Study you will examine your faith and what it means to have faith in God. He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20 Our faith begins with what we know and believe about God. Our faith will carry us how far we are willing to let it take us. Faith is a choice and we need to begin by choosing to believe in Jesus and His power to move mountains, heal the sick, and save us from all our sins through His sacrifice on the cross. When we believe in God we then learn to walk in faith and trust God. But first we must believe, and it’s up to us, we can either choose to believe in Him or not. But faith will mean nothing until we believe with all our heart that God is who He says He is.
