Heading off to an island for the day is quite the adventure for a family of 4 children. Given our research and our day on Kelley’s Island I thought it would be good to share kid friendly things to do on Kelley’s Island.
If you ride the Miller Ferry and bring your vehicle then you will be able to drive around the island. If you ride the Jet Express then you will want to rent a golf cart or bicycles to tour the island.

Ghostly Manor Thrill Center offers a variety of activities from Roller Skating to a Haunted House to a 3 leveled play structure for younger kids. We opted out of the Haunted House and Escape Room so that everyone in our family could enjoy their time at Ghostly Manor.
When we first pulled up into the parking lot we noticed the huge dragon that greeted us on the outside of the building. Once we got out of the car we saw two more dragon heads peeking out of the building!

We recently spend a few days in Sandusky, Ohio as part of a #LakeErieLove blog trip! We got to call the Sandusky Comfort Inn our home for 3 days! In the lobby, we were greeted with a large mermaid sculpture in front of a full wall mirror. Very pretty but hard to capture a clear picture that does the sculpture justice!

We do not go to Mote Park very often and I am not really sure why. It offers a lot of things to play on for all of my children. The main play structure at Mote Park consists of a set of stairs, 3 slides and two rock wall climbing areas.
The swings and Merry-Go-Round at Mote Park are located right next to each other in the mulched playground area. Children can easily run back and forth from one play structure to another with ease.
