We have went to a lot of events and places within the state of Ohio. We have never shared any of these excursions until now. I have decided that letting people know we live in Ohio outweighs the valuable information that we have to share about the various Field Trips and Frugal Family Trips we have taken.
We used to take Eldest and Princess to the zoo, art museum, and other fun places before all day Kindergarten and 1st grade got in the way! Yes, you read that right! For us school took our children away for far too many hours of the day each and every week. My children would be on a bus before 8 am and not return home until 4:20pm. We missed them so much we ate lunch with them about once a week and stayed for recess to push them and their friends on the swings!
I will save the rest of our transition from Christian School to homeschool story for another time. (See I told you all I am ADD!) Getting back to the topic of Frugal Family Trips!!
Here are all the places we have visited with our children. As posts go live they will become clickable for you to read each visit, pros and cons, and helpful hints and tips for each location. I will list them in alphabetical order to start but plan to reorder them once enough posts of the same type get published.
