We have went to a lot of events and places within the state of Ohio. We have never shared any of these excursions until now. I have decided that letting people know we live in Ohio outweighs the valuable information that we have to share about the various Field Trips and Frugal Family Trips we have taken.
We used to take Eldest and Princess to the zoo, art museum, and other fun places before all day Kindergarten and 1st grade got in the way! Yes, you read that right! For us school took our children away for far too many hours of the day each and every week. My children would be on a bus before 8 am and not return home until 4:20pm. We missed them so much we ate lunch with them about once a week and stayed for recess to push them and their friends on the swings!
I will save the rest of our transition from Christian School to homeschool story for another time. (See I told you all I am ADD!) Getting back to the topic of Frugal Family Trips!!

Those were not all in the same year, lol. This year we have 3-5 trips pending that we are getting sponsored for and hope to schedule very soon!

Wow! Ya’ll have been a lot of places. That is great! Looking forward to reading about the transition to home school. My daughter home schools her 3 children and I help when needed.

If you have children, there is alot to do in Ohio. I remember going to the amusement and water parks as a child.
